"How Many More Times" is the ninth and final track on English rock band Led Zeppelin's debut album Led Zeppelin. The song is credited in the album liner to Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham, but Robert Plant was later added to the ASCAP Blues rock.

Dec 20,  · Cover doesn't mention In My Time Of Dying Pasted on full color slicks on a white jacket Sound quality is only VG/VG+ and it runs at least 13% too fast probably more so I don't recommend this record unless you have a pitch control on your turntable to slow it down/5(12).

"How Many More Times" is based on some old blues songs that influenced the band. Some of the lyrics are from blues singer Albert King's song "The Hunter," and much of the song was derived from Howlin' Wolf's "How Many More Years."Some other Led Zeppelin reworkings of blues songs include "You Shook Me" and "The Lemon Song.".

“How Many More Times,” Led Zeppelin. Another statement of guitar and studio dominance by Page. The beginning, a huge, swaggery beat, is a little show-offy, but the groove it eventually.

Lastly the 8 minute medley "How Many More Times" is the one song to show off Led Zeppelin's musical style, with the progression between heavy riffs, blues passages and a psychedelic breakdown and it is perfect. The bonus disc is a Live Performance in Paris which starts off weak with, in my opinion, a poor performance of "Communication Breakdown".Reviews:
